Facebook changes to Autoposting Apps

While troubleshooting difficulties with autoposting applications, we had created a facebook app for a test site.

The settings were all exactly the same as all previously established (and fully functional) auto posting apps, except a very annoying setting buried in “Canvas Payments” that cannot be turned off. This turns out to be a Red Herring. Disregard it.

While searching for info on and attempting to disable this Payments Object, we discovered another menu option in the developers tools,  the object browser.

Upon selecting the Test Site's app within the object browser, we found that the default owner of the site was incorrect.  Select the correct user from the drop down list. This pop up prompt/confirmation will show

Other attempts to adjust or edit permissions through the app configuration required a lengthy submission process.  This simplified the process and worked!.
